The accomplished South Perth pair of Glenn Pauling and Scott Walker locked in a trip to the U.K. early next year in winning through the Australian Qualifying for the P.B.A. World Indoor Pairs.
Thursday afternoon they defeated the Cambridge duo of Clive Adams and Trystan Smallacombe 10/1 & 11/6 to progress to the last stage of qualifying.
The evening match pitted the Millers pair against the combination of Bernie Melville & Ray Pearse. In a nail-biting affair Pauling and Walker were able to triumph 9/7, 6/7 & 2/1 in the deciding tie-break set.
